The 2nd Industrial Furnaces and Refractory Symposium and Exhibition will be arranged by Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers with the support of Sakarya University between 3rd-5th May 2007 in Sakarya University, Esentepe Campus. With the feature of being first in our sector and profession field, 1st Industrial Furnaces and Refractory Symposium and Exhibition was held between 24th-26th March 2005 in Sakarya University, Esentepe Campus successfully, with the aim of gathering the manufacturer, marketing men and consumers of our sector. During the symposium, that last 3 days, 29 articles about were presented. During the event, where the prominent manufacturers and consumers were gathered, the structural problems with solution suggestions were analyzed and discussed. The refractory and industrial furnaces have a great importance in Metallurgy Sector because of having a significant role on production amount, quality and cost value. In this symposium we aim to gather the manufacturers, marketing men, consumers and researchers together and create a platform to let them share their knowledge and experience, to discuss the applications, problems and the solutions about our sector. During the three days period, at the presentation place there will be an exhibition where the sector manufacturers will be able to exhibit and present their products.
