Refractories Window Spoke at Magforum 2019

May 21, 2019 - Refractories Window just enjoyed a couple of nice days in Bilbao, Spain, last week, spending memorable time with famous experts, analysts, delegations from some excellent refractory and other MgO related companies at MagForum 2019 organized by IMFORMED. 

 

After years of cooperation with IMFORMED as media supporter, this is the first time that Refwin participates MagForum as a speaker. At IMFORMED’s invitation, we gave a speech about the trends and updated market information about magnesia in China.

Vincent Wong, on behalf of Refractories Window, spoke on the second day of the conference, presenting what is happening in China currently, explaining the deep reasons for magnesia market fluctuation that had kept continuous dropping in price over the past 6 months in China and he shared his prediction to the future trends of supply and price. When it came to the trends of price and supply, he emphasized that consolidation, capacity and regulation should be the decisive factors that sharp the future trend.

During 2 days of conference, speakers from 10 different countries shared their ideas about the updated technology trends, industrial development, new applications and global and different counties’ supply and price outlook regarding magnesite and magnesia.

On the first day, round table programme brought a good chance to exchange ideas for different themes, including China, processing, refractory market, R&D/new project developments, etc. Refwin delegate joined the round table programme and shared some of the latest news and changes about the China’s situation, especially for the environmental regulation.

RW magazine, as one of the most famous industrial publication for refractories industry in the world, was distributed at the conference, delivering the updated market news and price trends to the delegates.
