Beijing Real supplies refractories to Formosa Ha Tinh Steel

Jun. 7, 2017 - Vietnam's first large blast furnace steelworks, Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS), began to fire up its #1 Blast Furnace on May 30, 2017, contracted by CISDI Group Co., Ltd. on EPC basis.

FHS, Vietnam is the only steel producer with capacity up to 10 million tons per year constructed green-field out of China for recent nearly twenty years, also the largest integrated iron & steel complex in Southeast Asia. As the overall planning, consulting services provider, CISDI has been the engineering contractor for the stockyards, EPC contractor for blast furnaces, reheating furnaces and gas holders, the very engineering company undertaking the largest number of packages, with the highest total contract value.

With more than 50% market share of BF ceramic cup in China, Beijing Real Nonmetallic Materials Co., Ltd. won over CISDI and FHS, getting the order of all ceramic cups for FHS #1 Blast Furnace. In addition, Beijing Real offered construction material for slag iron runner in casting house, and castables for iron runner. This is another milestone for Beijing Real’s overseas market exploitation
