Imerys Refractory Minerals will present a new lightweight aggregate on UNITECR 2017

Sep. 8, 2017 - To present a new lightweight aggregate, our team would be pleased to welcome you on booth 31 during the 15thinternational conference on refractories, UNITECR 2017 in Santiago of Chile from September 26 th to 29th.

“Lightweight aluminosilicate aggregate for higher temperature refractory applications” is the title of our contribution to the Energy Saving and Insulation workshop. Scot Graddick, Mulcoa® and Fused Silica product manager at Imerys Refractory Minerals USA will address the topic Wednesday, September 27th at 2.30 pm in the Salon Parque1 of the conference center.

Test results of this highly refractory lightweight chamotte show that it may be considered as a potential game changer in the refractory industry! Indeed, this new aggregate refractory allows producers to potentially install single component linings.
