Othman Benjelloun Touimi wins 2017 Pierre Faurre Prize

Oct. 9, 2017 - Othman Benjelloun Touimi has been awarded the 2017 Pierre Faurre Prize by the École Polytechnique Foundation in Paris (France) for the brilliant start to his promising career with Saint-Gobain. Each year, the prize is presented to a young graduate of the École Polytechnique whose first few years in industry have revealed a combination of technical skill, an aptitude for management and success in an international arena. 

After starting his career with the Banque de France monitoring macroeconomic risks, Othman Benjelloun Touimi joined Saint-Gobain in 2013 as a strategic analyst with the Innovative Materials Sector in France. He was quickly promoted to the position of Director of Strategy for Ceramic Materials. He then transferred to Saint-Gobain Grains and Powders in California (United States), in 2015, where he was appointed Business Development Director, Surface Conditioning. Today, he is the General Manager of this business and Director of Strategy for Grains and Powders.
