Alfran attended UNITECR 2017 in Chile

Nov. 13, 2017 - Last September, the fifteenth UNITECR 2017 world congress was held in Santiago de Chile.

This congress has an attendance of more than 450 people from 4 continents. Thus, with more than 160 papers, it continues to be the world's largest technical reference in the refractory sector.

During the same "RAW MATERIALS PANNEL" took place. It is a round table where the worrying situation of the supply of several raw materials from China was exposed. This is due to production restrictions aimed at solving the environmental and health problem in several regions of this country. Therefore, Magnesia, Bauxite and Graphite begin to present problems of scarcity. The consequences are up to 175% in the last 12 months. This can change the strategies of different companies.

On this occasion, Alfran participated with a technical paper on the coating solution using ALFRAN MAG 85 HG in the re-building of the bricks of clinquer ovens.
