Heinz Nelissen elected as new President of GIFA and NEWCAST 2019

Jan. 23, 2018 - At the constituent meeting in December 2017, Heinz Nelissen, Managing Director Vesuvius GmbH, Foseco Foundry Division, Borken was elected as President of the GIFA and NEWCAST Trade Fairs.

In a brief statement after his election as President of the Fair, Heinz Nelissen said "I thank the Messe Düsseldorf and the organizing associations for their trust. This appointment honours the entire Vesuvius & Foseco organisation. I am very much looking forward to this new task, which will give us additional impetus in our preparations for GIFA. The GIFA working groups of FOSECO have already been very active with new ideas and innovations since September 2017.

The trade fairs will run from 25 to 29 June 2019 under the motto of “The Bright World of Metals”. Visitors can enjoy unparalleled networking opportunities and experience the latest trends in foundry, metallurgy and heat engineering technology. About 78,000 visitors and more than 2,200 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to attend.
