May. 09, 2018 - The ACRI delegation visited ThyssenKrupp Group's Industrial Solutions AG in Bekom, Germany on 16, April, after ending its trip to Refratechnik and ArcelorMittal.

Tolke, Head of Department High Temperature Technology and Mr. Juan Manuel Fernandez Mosquera, Project Manager of Mineral Processing, ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions AG, and Mr. Christophp Franken, Cluster Manager of Refractories Procurement& Supply Management gave the impressive presentations about the advanced technical application, kiln technology, and new processing technique used in mineral thermal process. The members of delegation interacted with ThessenKrupp representatives regarding to shaft kilns, multiple hearth furnaces, gas suspension calciner, and other equipments, and were impressed by energy saving performance of ThyssenKrupp’s Industrial Kiln. In addition, ACRI introduced the project of ThyssenKrupp’s in Haiming Mining in China as well as other related issues.

Both parties exchanged in-depth opinions on the market trend and supply situation China's refractories market. Given that the Chinese refractories industry is undergoing a round of change, ThyssenKrupp expressed its expectation for the potential of Chinese market.
