ArcelorMittal met ACRI delegation at its headquarter

May. 10, 2018 - On April 13, 2018, the delegation the Association of China Refractory Industry (ACRI) paid a visit to the headquarter of ArcelorMittal Group in Luxemburg, and was warmly welcomed by relevant department representatives of the world’s largest steel maker.

ArcelorMittal attached great importance to the arriving of the delegation and the two sides achieved in-depth exchanges on issues of concern to each other.

The delegation of ACRI expressed congratulations on the achievements made by ArcelorMittal in recent years, and had an impressive understanding of the new technology used in refractories in terms of cost reduction and quality improvement in steelmaking process.

As the leading steel company with the largest consumption of refractories, ArcelorMittal expressed great concern over the rising prices and supply shortage of refractory raw materials in China at current stage. The delegation made an in-depth presentation on China current situation and future trend.
