CEO Carol Jackson delivers keynote address to steel industry stakeholders

Feb. 14, 2019 - HarbisonWalker International Chairman and CEO Carol Jackson served as the keynote speaker at this week’s Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Her remarks highlighted the long, symbiotic relationship between refractories and steel, the parallel challenges these industries face in today’s global marketplace, and how HWI and its steel partners are working together to find solutions.

She also addressed the importance that organizational culture plays in a company’s success and described her appreciation for the intensity, dedication, and collaboration that her HWI colleagues display in creating a sustainable, consistent, and positive work environment — while continuously working to build outstanding experiences for HWI customers.
