Imerys Graphite & Carbon sets up new Technology Center in Bironico, Switzerland

Apr. 16, 2019 - Last week Imerys Graphite & Carbon celebrated the inauguration of its new Technology Center in Bironico, Switzerland. 

The official lab inauguration took place on Friday 12th of April with over 150 participants – including local authorities, press and suppliers who helped to build the lab, as well as business neighbors, employees and their families. After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests were given a guided tour of the lab. 

The new Technology Center in Bironico is dedicated to high-performance technical applications for graphite and carbon black. The R&D team is specialized in the development of new graphite and carbon black products for applications including: mobile energy, conductive polymers, engineering materials, and refractories.
