Plibrico: Michael Woolery becomes its new purchasing manager

Apr. 18, 2019 - Plibrico Company, LLC, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Mike Woolery as its Purchasing Manager. The appointment strengthens the company’s customer-first business practices, as well as its ability manage its raw material supply chain. Improving quality and ensuring adherence to its customers critical delivery schedules.

His early emphasis will be on driving improvements through optimization the company’s supply chain spend and increases in efficiencies. To accomplish, he will integrate a strategy that is both data-driven, forward-thinking and includes key performance standards.

Woolery will report directly to the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Rob Wasieleski. “I am pleased to welcome Mike Woolery to Plibrico, where his extensive expertise and demonstrated track record will add immediate value to our business and benefit our customers,” said Wasieleski. “Mike is a purchasing professional with an excellent understanding of supply chain logistics, and a solid grasp of raw materials and commodities.”

Woolery comes to the Plibrico Company with a Lean/Six Sigma Certification and over fifteen years of experience in procurement, purchasing and auditing within the freight and heavy industrial equipment industries. Most recently he was a Senior Global Commodity Specialist for CNH Industrial in Burr Ridge, IL, where he managed over 50 manufacturing suppliers across a variety of global commodities.

Woolery earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, NE, and his master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University Chicago.
