METEC is the largest international trade fair for metallurgy, steel casting, and steel production. It only takes place every four years in Düsseldorf, Germany. “All major stakeholders of our industry will be there. This is a unique opportunity to interact with customers and partners, discuss the trends and exhibit the latest technologies,” says Gustavo Franco, CSO RHI Magnesita. “This year we will not only participate, but we will also make the difference. The refractory industry needs to reposition itself and we are leading this process by driving mutual innovation together with our partners. We will give our customers a taste of what is to come, and this continuous exchange is a motto of our innovative attitude.”

RHI Magnesita Booth: ‘Times Square’ of METEC

On an area of a total of 644m2, RHI Magnesita is going to present the latest solutions ranging from smart mining to smart plant. This includes big data, digitalization, automation & robotics, process safety, and sustainability. A curved LED wall topping the company’s booth makes RHI Magnesita’s booth the ‘Times Square’ of METEC. Four interactive augmented reality screens lined up alongside the LED wall invite visitors to get to know the lifecycle of RHI Magnesita’s products from mining to customer solutions – Refractory 4.0. The picture is completed by five interactive touch tables, which provide interested parties with e-brochures of products and solutions.
