At present,the qoutation of group size is around 6800 RMB yuan/ton; 200 mesh fine powder is around 7200-7300 RMB yuan/ton, the price changes little compared with November,2004. Alumina is the main raw material and its price is about 4700 RMB yuan/ton now.In rencent two monthes,alumina price keeps high, which makes corundum manufacturers very affilicative.It is reported that China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals&Chemicals Importers&Exporters (CCCMC) will conduct the talks on supply of alumina from Dce.10-13,2004 in Sanya,Hainan province, At the time, manufacturers and alumina suppliers will exchange their views on existing corundum market and the pressure of corundum manufacturers.
