VGH AG Opens Ukraine Subsidiary - Anton Alenin Appointed Director

Nov. 9, 2011 - VGH Viktoria Garten Hüttenindustriebedarf AG has founded a new subsidiary in Mariupol (Ukraine) to locally intensify sales and support activities to the Ukrainian market.  At present VGH cooperates with leading Ukranian steelworks such as, Azovstal, Ilyich (Mariupol), Zaporizhstal in Zaporizhye, AMK in Alchevsk and ArcelorMittal in Krivoj Rog, along with others and is enjoying a continually growing presence in the market thanks to new cooperation partners.
Anton Alenin has been appointed Director of VGH-Ukraine Ltd. Alenin began his career at Azovstal Iron & Steel Works, where he not only gained significant experience in the fields of international sales and purchasing of refractory materials, but also held responsibility for quality control. For the past seven years, prior to his new appointment at VGH, Alenin worked as the director of representative offices of leading refractory manufacturers in China.
In his new role at VGH, Anton Alenin will be placing a focus on consolidating VGH’s position in the refractory products market, alongside expanding trade in the Ukraine and into further Eastern Europe markets. Parallel to this, the range of VGH products available in the Ukraine market will be increased.
