RHI Magnesita strengthens management team with Jacqueline Knox

Oct. 19, 2018 - RHI Magnesita is pleased to announce that Jacqueline Knox, currently Associate General Counsel M&A at VEON, an international telecommunications and technology business, has been appointed EVP General Legal Counsel & Company Secretary at RHI Magnesita, effective 1st December 2018. She will be based in Vienna and be part of the EMT. “This organizational change within our top leadership team will ensure we are well positioned for the future”, says Stefan Borgas, CEO of RHI Magnesita.

Having worked across different industries and continents, Knox brings broad international experience, large knowledge and strong technical legal skills, including executing M&A deals and an understanding of UK corporate governance. Jacqueline was previously General Counsel and Company Secretary at Ophir Energy plc, a FTSE listed upstream oil and gas business with a large portfolio of assets across Africa and Asia which she helped to take from a private company to a London listing. She holds a dual degree in law and international relations (BA/LLB) from the University of Queensland and is a dual British & Australian citizen.
