Jun. 28, 2025 - Jun. 28, 2025 - The 13th (Xinmi) Refractories Trade Fair was successfully held in Xinmi Chengyude Hotel, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China during Jun. 26-27, 2025, which brought together over 150 exhibitors and more than 1,500 visitors of relevant refractory raw materials, products, equipment and downstream users from China nationwide and overseas countries such as Japan, India, Germany, France, United States, etc.
The exhibited refractory raw materials, products and equipment cover Calcined bauxite, Brown fused alumina (BFA), White fused alumina (WFA), Flake graphite, Silicon carbide, Magnesia, Andalusite, Kyanite, Mullite, Spinel, Flint clay, Alumina bubble, Anti-explosion fiber, Alumina brick, Silica-mullite brick, AZS brick, Insulating brick, Intelligent high-temperature kiln, Automatic palletizing mechanical arm, Optical spectrum analyzer, Magnetic separator, Automatic batching production line, etc. Various types of refractory products and equipment attract the audience to stop frequently to consult, exchange and discuss the possibility of cooperation.
Xinmi enjoys the reputation of "China's Refractories Capital", for its long histoty of refractories industry, with a solid industrial foundation and a large industrial scale. It is understood that there are currently 305 refractories producers in Xinmi City, with an annual production capacity of approximately 9 million tons. The annual output accounts for 20% of the national total and 40% of that of Henan Province. Among them, there are 138 large-scale enterprises (116 refractories enterprises and 22 new materials enterprises), with over 80,000 employees. In Xinmi, 91 refractories enterprises have been recognized as national high-tech enterprises and 161 as national technology-based enterprises. That is why this trade fair was held in Xinmi.
This Trade Fair aims to further optimize the industrial layout, to improve and enhance the supporting capacity of the industrial chain, to strengthen cooperation among industry, academia and research, to raise the level of process technology and equipment automation, to enhance the core competitiveness of the industry, to promote the development of refractories enterprises in Xinmi and its surrounding areas, and to enhance Xinmi's influence in the refractories market in China and wordwide.
On the morning of June 27th, a Theme Forum on the High-quality Development of Green and Low-Carbon Refractories was held as well. Under the chairmanship of Professor Yuan Lin, the President of the Refractories Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society, professors from Northeastern University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, China University of Geosciences, and Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, as well as experts from Associationof China Refractories Industry (ACRI), Baowu Armed Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., China General Certification & Testing Group Co., Ltd. and its Refractory Products Inspection and Certification Institute, and Qinhuangdao Glass Industry Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. took turns to give on-site speeches.
In addition, a Symposium on the Production and Application of Andalusite, Sillimanite, Kyanite and Mullite was held on the afternoon of June 26th. The theme of the Symposium is "Quality · Brand · Development", aiming to win users' recognition with the stability of product quality, to build an outstanding product brand, and to achieve the sustainable development of the enterprise. The meeting invited Dr. Gao Jianying from Imerys (Tianjin) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang Lei, Technical Manager of Kyanite Mining Corporation, Mr. Niu Qinglin, General Manager of Fujian Xinyu New Materials Co., Ltd., Mr. Yin Kunbao, Director of the Technology Center of Zhengzhou Annec Industrial Co., Ltd., and Mr. Li Dongjie from Zhengzhou Zhengboya Industrial Co., Ltd. to share their reports. Professor Zhou Ningsheng, the former Dean of the Institute of High Temperature Materials at Henan University of Science and Technology, was the specially invited host of the Symposium.
