Refratechnik supplys anode furnace project of TRIMET Aluminium SE

Jan. 21, 2021 - In 2020, the anode plant of TRIMET Aluminium SE in Hamburg/Germany started the operation of a newly refurbished anode furnace. In this large-scale project, the refractory lining of the 48 chambers was supplied by Refratechnik in successful cooperation with furnace constructor CFT Carbon Furnaces Technologies, Netherlands. The kiln now operates with lower energy consumption.

Refratechnik's refractory systems were equipped with the highest quality grades REFRAL® 50 Premium as well as other qualified REFRAL grades. The project was completed in the record time of only ten weeks! Refratechnik contributed to this success with its own spot-on delivery.
