Tivan and Sumitomo team up for fluorite project

Tivan Limited and Sumitomo Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a joint venture for the Speewah Fluorite Project, aiming to finalize binding agreements by March 2025. 

This collaboration involves a significant equity investment from Sumitomo, highlighting the project’s potential in critical mineral production. 

The Speewah Project, focusing on acid-grade fluorspar, is positioned to impact key industries like semiconductors and electric vehicle batteries.
