Calderys launching the Calderys Academy for Supervisors in EMEA

Feb. 25, 2026 - The refractory industry faces a critical challenge: skilled installation supervisors are in short supply across Europe. Calderys is addressing this shortage head-on with the Supervisor Academy: a 18-month training program for refractory installation supervisors.

The Calderys Academy for Supervisors is an intensive on-site training program that transforms motivated individuals into expert refractory supervisors. No prior refractory experience is required, just technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and determination to master an essential craft. We welcome candidates who have a background in construction, mechanical, bricklaying or Carpentry.

Through hands-on field training, personal mentorship from experienced supervisors, and exposure to diverse industrial applications, trainees gain the expertise needed to lead installation projects across steel, cement, glass, and energy industries.
