Şişecam attended the 5th Advanced Materials in Construction Summit

Nov. 23, 2022 - Şişecam, one of the top five global flat glass manufacturers, participated in the fifth Advanced Materials in Construction Summit held in Berlin, Germany on November 3 and 4, 2022. Şişecam attended the event, organized by Berlin-based Luxatia International, and delivered the presentation “The Transformation Shaping the Future.”

During the summit, architects, engineers and construction industry professionals discussed key agenda items in the building materials industry. Topics of discussion included sustainable building solutions, modern use of bio-based materials, building smart cities of the future with advanced materials, environmentally friendly solutions, ways to reduce field waste and artificial intelligence and big data applications in this field.

In the presentation, Şişecam provided information about relevant developments globally and in the construction industry, as well as details about the company and its reference projects, under the theme of transformation.
